Well made fits my atacama with room to spare perfect match to a perfect tent
The bag really stood the test of being dry when our kayak flipped. The content in the bag stayed dry. I purchased this dry bag because of the handles it was easy to carry. I am pleased with my purchase and hope this dry bag last for a long time.
If I had it to do over again I would probably spring for the larger bag. After I get the tent in, sleeping pad, chair, and a couple of smaller items, there just isn't any room left for my sleeping bag or a cot. I could probably get the bag to fit if I didn't keep it in a dry sack but I don't like a dry sleeping bag sitting next to a wet tent.
While traveling all over the country on a motorcycle through all kinds of weather my 50 litre dry bags have never leaked. They are outfuckingstanding!
Love this bag from Redverz. Have numerous products from them and they are durable and solid for the price.
The material feels better then the vinyl. The bag is nice and large. Holds my Redverz tent and has some room left over.
This is the twin to the one I bought a year ago. On a 7771 mile trip this month we were rain upon at least 9 times without a drop of moisture inside either of the bags which rode on top of the side boxes. I never had a leak in the older bag and it has had a lot of trips around New England.
I purchased the dry bag for an 1600 mile motorcycle camping trip. I bought both the 90 liter and the 50 liter.
In the 90 liter, I put my Redverz Solo Expedition Tent with groundsheets and extra stakes, my sleeping bag, my self-inflating sleeping pad, and a few other odds and ends. I had room to spare.
In the 50 liter, I put 2 Biolite camp stoves with the cooking and lighting accessories, as well as some other camp odds and ends (plates, cups, etc.). Again, plenty of room to spare.
The stacked OK on the luggage rack of my Street Glide Special. They include 2 tie down rings on each side of the bag where the handles connect to the bag which made attaching to my luggage rack easy. As it turns out, we did not hit any of the rain we were expecting but the way they are constructed makes me believe there would be no problem with water. The top folds over (3 times recommended for waterproof) and clips on each side.
I would have given 5 stars across the board but I wish is that they were a little more formed for packing on a flat surface and stacking (rectangular box like). This might add a little weight (which would be ok) or be impossible with this type of material, but I have seen other dry bags with that feature.
Overall, very happy with the purchase. Hope I never have to find out how good they are in a driving rain.
Chose the 50 L and it is perfect size for passenger seat attachment or luggage grid...holds my Redverz tent/sleeping bag/air mattress...it is new to me but seems very well made.
This bag did real well. It always kept my gear dry.
I bought this bag last summer for a touring road trip. I've moved away from the fancy stacking riding bags (T-bags) as these seems to be more versatile. I like keeping my bags as low as possible to keep that low center of balance.
My only complaint about this bag is that there are not D-rings on the underside/pointing down. I would be nice to have d-rings that you could easily connect to a luggage rack. Because of the design I usually mount it on my passengers seat.
Also I wish there was a 65L bag option. I bought the 50L and wish was just a little bit more room. When I go on long trips I do, barely, get by hauling my 2-man tent, sleeping back, backpack, camping pillow, lights, hammock, air mattress, and a small fordable camp chair.
All in all it's a great bag, durable, and I love the bright yellow color.. helps be seen.
It's tough...it works
I own about 5 various dry bags between about 25-60 Litres in size. This is almost perfect the perfect size. Yes it fits your tent and has a wide opening, but you can also pack a weeks worth of clothes, camping gear, etc into it as well. About the only thing I could suggest is to include 4 soft loop straps with the bag. I'm using Rok-Straps but if the bag included something it would be a few minutes less searching in the garage for a tie-down solution.
Has many uses including carrying and protecting a redverz tent.
I had no previous experience with waterproof bags. This bag exceeds my expectations by far. My new Attacama tent and poles, air mattress, sleeping bag, camp chair, pillow and numerous other small items fit in this bag perfectly. Great product, Redverz!
Fits my tent, tent floor ground sheet and garage ground sheet perfectly with room to spare.
Well constructed and fits on my 13 BMW GSA top case easily with two 24" Rok Straps.
Now my investment will be well protected and dry regardless of where I travel.
I used this big bag for a drop bag in severe arctic weather conditions. It was a critical piece of kit choice as it kept 5 days food and clothing dry whilst out in -67F. This is a tough dry bag.
Nice quality easily fits the redverz tent with the Awning kit and two Groundsheets. Like all the REDVERZ product top quality...
after ponying up the $ for the tent I figured I should protect it bag easily fit tent with additional room for other small items quality is top notch and it easily protected tent while strapped to the back of my bike for 500 miles of on and off road
Looking forward to using tent and bag in my 2015 adventure to Alaska from new Mexico
bought this bag with our tent and couldn't be happier. have used it on the motorcycle in a rain storm and took it down the river canoeing. everything high and dry. thinking of getting another one to carry other items.
