Redverz Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent — Green
The Atacama is a motorcycle expedition tent built for riders who go places.
Not a weekend warrior tent. Not a glamping setup. A purpose-built shelter designed around a full-size adventure tourer — panniers, luggage and all — that sets up solo in under five minutes and holds its shape when everything else is moving.
It's currently running in the Simpson Desert in Australia, through sub-Saharan Africa, across South America, and on routes through Europe and North America. Riders use it because it works. Because it's still working 14, 15, 16 years later. Because when the weather turns, it doesn't.
This is the tent you buy once.

The Garage
Two opposing J-doors open wide enough to ride a full-size adventure tourer straight in. Panniers on. No unloading in the rain. No gear left outside.
Standing headroom throughout. Use it as your living room, your workshop, your drying room. When the weather closes in, this is where you eat, plan, and wait it out.
It's not a vestibule. It's a room.

Sleeping Bay
Rectangular floor plan. Vertical walls. Enough space to sleep three, use cots for two, or spread out solo with room for gear.
Separate entry and exit doors mean two riders never have to climb over each other. Flow-through ventilation runs air from one end to the other — essential in heat.
Configurations
— 1 Up — full space to yourself. Gear stays inside. No compromises.
— 2 Up — queen-size footprint. Separate doors. Each rider has their own exit.
— 3 Up — tight but workable. Move gear to the garage bay.

Built for Real Weather
4000mm hydrostatic head on the fly. 10,000mm on the floor.
To put that in context: most camping tents rate between 1500–3000mm. The Atacama's floor rating is more than three times that — because when water pools around a tent in a storm, the floor is where it gets in.
Factory-sealed seams throughout. Bathtub floor construction. This isn't expedition-grade waterproofing as a marketing claim — it's what you need when the weather doesn't care about your schedule.
The Frame
Aircraft-grade aluminium poles, pre-bent to shape. The hoop design creates vertical inner walls — that's what gives you the headroom and the structural integrity in high winds.
Flexible enough to absorb gusts. Rigid enough to hold shape through the night. The frame is why this tent is still standing after 15 years of hard use in the hands of people who ask a lot of their gear.

Atacama Tent
I love this tent! At 6'6" I can stand upright inside and I used mine in mid-to-late fall with overnight temps in the 20°-30°F with no heat source and was comfortable all night with a motorcycle cover and a mid-weight bag. Set it up the first time and with a little planning when repacking, it can be out and set up in under ten minutes, staked and guyed in 15. I recommend the ground sheets to keep the moisture from rising up and keeping the interior stowed. It stayed perfectly taught in 30 mph wind gusts. The awning poles are also a nice addition. I've done the cheap tent route and with a multi-day trip, they do not compare with the Atacama. Even a smaller cheap tent is not as easy to set up and take down. Four stakes has it up to get gear inside, eight total makes it complete. The guy ropes will make it steadfast in stiff wind. If I manage to wear this one out, I'll get another Atacama.

Brilliant tent
It's a lot of money granted. But after buying many tents. I have finally found a tent wroth the money for mother bike camping. I have had this tent with my BMW GSA 1200 and together we have travel to many places over the years (I have seen the price has come down since I got it). It's not only a tent for camping with a MC. I have even done the cooking in mine. Now it is not recommended to cook in a tent has the heart can melt the zip closed. But I have one door open and have also cooked while it rained no problem, Now you tell me. How many tents can you do that in!

Great tent. the are outside of the sleeping area is great for getting out of the elements. Took me years to decide to get one and I am not disappointed.

Phenomenal design - almost perfection and super support
Design is similar to hilleberg , I would venture to say there is not a better design for two adults that is comfortable. The level of detail in the design of the ten is clearly obvious. On top of it, the company takes pride in thier product. From how the guy lines are setup and how many are there, to the garage size , ground Matt’s setup , space in bed room, it’s all perfect. I upgraded a few items on my ten my, it’s going to an expedition in bush Alaska with high winds. 9 inch Easton stake, syclone max poles from tentpoletech, alligator guy lines. For day to day use, this is not needed as the supplied poles are prebent 7001 aluminum and have proven over time. For my needs, the upgrade offers piece of mind. Only request for the next version of the tent I have is to upgrade to ykk zippers.

REDVERZ ATACAMA EXPEDITION
Purchased to use on basecamp style ADV trips, took it out on a solo camping ride and haven't touched my other beloved tent (Eureka K2 XT) since. The Atacama has been through extreme wind and rain and stood up well. The storm was enough to 'flatten' the staked tent under extreme gusts and the tent popped right back (eventually I had to use long cord tied to trees to prevent the pegs from wriggling loose). I am a big guy at 6'4" tall and it's fantastic to not start my day crawling on my hands and knees. I have almost zero complaints. I've used it for two years now and the only thing that I would like to see are a few loops sewn into ceiling seams to allow for hanging of a headlamp, gloves, light jacket, that sort of thing. Maybe one center loop for a lamp and four corner loops to install a mesh 'attic' and/or use for other items. Never had rain get in anywhere, I always crack end windows leaving screen exposed to let airflow pass thru overnight. This prevents any real condensation. The space between the inner tent and fly also do a great job of that. Smaller tents take less ambient body and time heat to warm up the interior, I have noticed the Atacama really doesn't warm up dramatically while I am in there at 4C, not a terrible issue and if you're inside during the heat it's a blessing. After a couple 'erections' (composure folks!) the tent is easily unpacked and repacked. Butt end into the wind is the key - watch the videos. I will stake down the ground sheet first as the tent bottom can be clipped to that to keep it from lifting under high winds when you're trying to erect it. Everything added comes at a cost and weight but the hook loops would add immense functionality. Love this tent, it's big but it's glamping heaven to camp with. I would buy an attic if it were an option. Not sure how it could be facilitated but it would be clever to be able to lift sides of entire fly up and away from tent to let it dry faster while breaking down camp.

Redverz Atacama
The standard shipping was quicker than expected! The quality of tent is awesome! First tent that I wasn’t damp when I woke up. Set up was pretty easy. It was extremely windy and I considered using the out rigger lines, but didn’t. I thought there was a few times it was going to end up floating down the Missouri River. It stayed put! I didn’t get a chance to use the awning kit because of how windy it was. I did use both ground sheets. I even left them on on pack up as they clip into the tent. I watched a short YouTube video on pack up and it went real well. Fit back into stuff sack! I plan on using it all summer and fall. It was a bit costly, but so far seems worth it!
