Redverz Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent — Green
The Atacama is a motorcycle expedition tent built for riders who go places.
Not a weekend warrior tent. Not a glamping setup. A purpose-built shelter designed around a full-size adventure tourer — panniers, luggage and all — that sets up solo in under five minutes and holds its shape when everything else is moving.
It's currently running in the Simpson Desert in Australia, through sub-Saharan Africa, across South America, and on routes through Europe and North America. Riders use it because it works. Because it's still working 14, 15, 16 years later. Because when the weather turns, it doesn't.
This is the tent you buy once.

The Garage
Two opposing J-doors open wide enough to ride a full-size adventure tourer straight in. Panniers on. No unloading in the rain. No gear left outside.
Standing headroom throughout. Use it as your living room, your workshop, your drying room. When the weather closes in, this is where you eat, plan, and wait it out.
It's not a vestibule. It's a room.

Sleeping Bay
Rectangular floor plan. Vertical walls. Enough space to sleep three, use cots for two, or spread out solo with room for gear.
Separate entry and exit doors mean two riders never have to climb over each other. Flow-through ventilation runs air from one end to the other — essential in heat.
Configurations
— 1 Up — full space to yourself. Gear stays inside. No compromises.
— 2 Up — queen-size footprint. Separate doors. Each rider has their own exit.
— 3 Up — tight but workable. Move gear to the garage bay.

Built for Real Weather
4000mm hydrostatic head on the fly. 10,000mm on the floor.
To put that in context: most camping tents rate between 1500–3000mm. The Atacama's floor rating is more than three times that — because when water pools around a tent in a storm, the floor is where it gets in.
Factory-sealed seams throughout. Bathtub floor construction. This isn't expedition-grade waterproofing as a marketing claim — it's what you need when the weather doesn't care about your schedule.
The Frame
Aircraft-grade aluminium poles, pre-bent to shape. The hoop design creates vertical inner walls — that's what gives you the headroom and the structural integrity in high winds.
Flexible enough to absorb gusts. Rigid enough to hold shape through the night. The frame is why this tent is still standing after 15 years of hard use in the hands of people who ask a lot of their gear.

Expedition Tent
Not the lightest tent around, but definately the best for moto riders or just someone wanting a well engineered tent. It's a breeze to put up ( no pun intended, if you've seen the videos this will make sense. Every tine we use it, someone wants to know where to buy one. The last time, I put it up in the dark in less than 5 minutes. Do yourself a favor and next time you're in the market, buy this tent. I don't know how often if ever I'd park a bike in the garage, there are two of us each with our own. Maybe if it was bad weather and we had some maintainence to do, but what it really gives you is SPACE. Something you normally don't have in a moto tent. You can stand up to get dressed and aren't tripping over stuff while doing it. My wife thinks it's the best $500 we've spent on camping gear.

Redverz Atacama Expedition MC Tent
I took a MC camping trip through New Brunswick, CA and Cape Bretton, NS, CA to ride the Cabot Trail. The tent was easy to carry on my bike, cruiser, and provided a lot of room for me and my equipment. I did encounter rain, lots of rain on the trip, the tent did offer excellent shelter, inside never got wet. I have not tried to park the bike in the "garage" but what I enjoy is having that extra room to act as a canopy over me for protection from bad weather. I can sit in it, stand in it, use my little Jet Boil stove and lots of room to store equipment w/out having to share my sleeping area for such. I do recommend that people who purchase the tent, practice setting up and taking down a few times before actual use. The videos on this site are very helpful and remember, practice makes perfect. I look forward to other camping excursions with the Redverz Atacama Expedition MC Tent. I give this tent 5 stars.

Awesome motocamping tent!!!
This tent is amazing! Super easy solo setup, and fits my klr with hardcases, all my gear, as well as enough room for two full cots. Have recommended it to everyone I know. Thanks guys for making such an awesome product!

Redverz Atacama Expedition
They laugh about the bike in the garage tent but then when it's raining, snowing or blowing out it's suddenly the most popular tent in the campground! I've had this particular tent for nearly a year now and I love how roomy it is, how I can stand up to change my clothes, the ventilation that prevents moisture buildup and how much space in the bay there is for storage, cooking or just visiting. I've only put the bike inside once and that was to hide it from a park ranger who was hassling us about the number of bikes/tent site! My advice is get the footprints for both the sleeping and garage area; they fit great and and a nice touch.

Hot days and very cool, high-wind nights
Your YouTube videos were a driving force for me buying that tent, and everything you said was true. That trip, had hot days and very cool, high-wind nights, wind and clay from the dry bed, sand-blasting and pulling at all my tie-lines... (I did buy four, a bit longer, [twisted] stakes (REI i think), because i knew i'd be in ...just clay, not firm dirt) and tho the wind howled and threatened, the tent held firm, myself and I all my gear were protected inside. It is truly amazing, and tho you hear folks talk about how light they like to travel, I am one of those people (like you i image) that are willing to trade a bit of room, for the comfort (LUXURY! ;-) i have with your tent. So thank you for all your hard work.

Exceeded Expectations
I went camping this past weekend (Labor Day weekend) and I was anxious to see my Atacama tent in action. Setting up the tent was a breeze, it literally took me 15 minutes (considering that I have never setup the tent, I think that is pretty good). Once the tent was setup, I could not stop to thinking about the details that the tent has… everything was well thought off. Over the course of the camping, it rained several times on me, and the inside of the tent was dry like the Sahara. In simple words, it is the best tent that I have ever owned. My only complained is that I was missing 3 stakes.

one of the best tents.
This tent is great. While it is a little more to carry on your bike versus my old Big Agnes 3 person tent it is worth the extra 6 to 8 lbs. It is easy to set up and take down as there is only 3 poles. The biggest complaint you will have is the guys you camp with yelling at you for taking up so much room. It is great to be able to step into the tent versus crawl. Great ventilation and keeps you bone dry. I like these tents so much when the Atacama came out I had to sell my Series II to get one. And selling a well taken care of tent is no hassle as I had three people interested. Treat yourself and get one today.
