Need to make the awning poles the same as the tent poles to serve as a backup if needed, also would be nice to have the little baggies sewn on the awnings for the awnings straps, I know this will increase the price but this is a premier product as it is if I was worried about price I wouldn’t have purchased this tent

Awning for Atacama Expedition Tent
Purchasing the awning was a welcomed asset. I allows one to enter the tent to escape the rain or beaming sun rays quickly and easily when it's up. It also adds the feeling of being in a wellmade structure, not just a tent. Makes all my riding buddies jealous of my accommodations whenever we camp.

Best pole repair solution
bent a pole badly when i got home by driving over it in the garage. after looking through their website i realised these are the same high quality sections i needed for a cheaper price than a new pole. made the repair myself. slightly different colour than the red original poles, but tent back to new again. fast shipping too was back on the road the next weekend.

Great for hot days
Add shadow if you need it, add an extra ventilation door at the same time and you can go in and out of the lobby really easy. The space and weigh is nothing since you can carry it with your tent poles. When you put your chair under the shadow and have Breakfast, coffee, beer or what ever is great.
