Redverz Atacama Expedition Motorcycle Tent — Ivory
The Atacama is a motorcycle expedition tent built for riders who go places. Not a weekend warrior tent. Not a glamping setup. A purpose-built shelter designed around a full-size adventure tourer — panniers, luggage and all — that sets up solo in under five minutes and holds its shape when everything else is moving. It's currently running in the Simpson Desert in Australia, through sub-Saharan Africa, across South America, and on routes through Europe and North America. Riders use it because it works. Because it's still working 14, 15, 16 years later. Because when the weather turns, it doesn't.The Ivory colorway reflects heat rather than absorbing it — a practical advantage in desert and high-summer conditions. This is the tent you buy once.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Paid for itself in a few nights. Bone dry in hard rain.”— Rob, 4-week US motorcycle tour
The Garage
Two opposing J-doors open wide enough to ride a full-size adventure tourer straight in. Panniers on. No unloading in the rain. No gear left outside.
Standing headroom throughout. Use it as your living room, your workshop, your drying room. When the weather closes in, this is where you eat, plan, and wait it out.
It's not a vestibule. It's a room.
Sleeping Bay
Rectangular floor plan. Vertical walls. Enough space to sleep three, use cots for two, or spread out solo with room for gear.
Separate entry and exit doors mean two riders never have to climb over each other. Flow-through ventilation runs air from one end to the other — essential in heat.
Configurations
— 1 Up — full space to yourself. Gear stays inside. No compromises.
— 2 Up — queen-size footprint. Separate doors. Each rider has their own exit.
— 3 Up — tight but workable. Move gear to the garage bay.

Built for Real Weather
4000mm hydrostatic head on the fly. 10,000mm on the floor.
To put that in context: most camping tents rate between 1500–3000mm. The Atacama's floor rating is more than three times that — because when water pools around a tent in a storm, the floor is where it gets in.
Factory-sealed seams throughout. Bathtub floor construction. This isn't expedition-grade waterproofing as a marketing claim — it's what you need when the weather doesn't care about your schedule.

The Frame
Aircraft-grade aluminium poles, pre-bent to shape. The hoop design creates vertical inner walls — that's what gives you the headroom and the structural integrity in high winds.
Flexible enough to absorb gusts. Rigid enough to hold shape through the night. The frame is why this tent is still standing after 15 years of hard use in the hands of people who ask a lot of their gear.
What Riders Say
“I received the Atacama Expedition tent in July. I then took a 4-week motorcycle tour of 21 states. I spent an entire week in the Great Smoky Mountains each night in this tent. The fit and finish are astounding. It paid for itself in just a few nights as I didn't have to stay in motels. I have used this tent during a hard rain and no leaks, no drips, no errors.”
— Rob
“They laugh about the bike in the garage tent but then when it's raining, snowing or blowing out it's suddenly the most popular tent in the campground. I've had this particular tent for nearly a year now and I love how roomy it is, how I can stand up to change my clothes, the ventilation that prevents moisture buildup and how much space there is for storage.”
— Eric Hall
“Purchased this to encourage my wife to join me on longer moto trips. Not only did that work out wonderfully, but I'm using it on a regular basis when camping solo. Feels high quality, all the zippers are super smooth, and I stayed 3 nights in wind and rain without a drop penetrating the outer shell.”
— Joel
“I would venture to say there is not a better design for two adults that is comfortable. The level of detail in the design of the tent is clearly obvious. On top of it, the company takes pride in their product.”

Redverz Atacama Expedition motorcycle tent
I recently bought this tent for a long ride & camping trip. It was the best purchase I have ever made. The tent is easy to pack, lightweight, easy to assemble, and made camping a great experience. I'm over 6' & can actually stand up in the text. There is plenty of room inside and overall lots of room for my gear. Buy this one - you will never regret it.

Warranty
I have been in love with this tent from the first time I put it up...and down. It has to be the easiest tent to do either. And functionality? Oh man! The best. I'm 6 ft Tall and wanted a tent I could stand up in and one that wasn't too heavy or to big when packed. No other tent on the market can match this one. When I had a small issue with a seam separating from the fabric, the folks at Redverz took care of it in a friendly and expedient manner. Thanks Redverz for a great experience ALL the way around!

redverz Atacama tent
Delivery was great. I needed it soon for upcoming event and got it days to spare. Quality of tent was great! Cost a bit high though.

Tons of room
I've seen the redverz tent at every event I've been to. It wasn't till I had to cook in the rain that I saw it's real benefit. It packs a bit big and it's not for the minimalist. At 6'2 I can stand in it and get dressed like a human, it also seems to be the hangout for friends when the weather gets bad. Over all it's a high quality tent with a ton of space that's easy to put up and take down

My 5 Star tent!
Every couple years I seem to buy another tent. I was initially intimidated with the size of the Redverz. However, I'm now a happy camper. I'm getting much faster at setting it up and am around 12 minutes now and that's 9 days into a 5 week 13 State trip. What's cool, is I'm tall and can stand upright in it. I can stow all my stuff (haven't put the bike in yet), change clothes, sit and read too. Another important feature, not a single skeeter has gotten into the big sleeping area. It's costs a bunch, but after a week's worth of tent'n instead of motel'n it, it's paid for itself. Got from the good folks at Twisted Throttle. Oh yeah, I added the sleeping area tarp by Redverz, but just use an 8x8 cheep tarp in the vestibule area. Reason I'm writing this, I'm sure there are those who want more from a tent then struggling in and out of one in the middle of the night. The annoyance factor has dropped considerably.

great space
I bought this before a two week trip - I'm sure if I hadn't it would have rained the whole time and I would have been miserable. As is turned out the weather was great so I didn't get to test it in the rain. I rode an f800gs, and carying the tent was not an issue about 50% of my trip was off road, so not an issue there either. It was great to be able to change standing up, and have the space to just "throw" the bike gear out of sight of other campers. The tent seems really well made (I have owned other top quality tents). Having to stake the tent was new for me, so I was unable to "flip the tent over" to sun dry the floor of the tent before packing it away - I was glad to have brought a painters tarp for use as a ground cloth - kept the tent clean. People were amazed that "all that" came off my bike :).

Great tent!
Very well designed, easy to set up and good quality materials.

Atacama
Great product! Purchased last summer and used well over a dozen times. Well thought out design enables the tent to be set up easily and quickly by one person, even with heavy wind. Used mostly for family camping but my KLR650 without panniers fits well. I also purchased the ground sheet for the sleeping section. Also worth mentioning the support from Redverz is excellent....my request for longer guy lines was quickly fulfilled. Great product and well worth the money.

expsensive tent, well worth the price
I bought this tent for 2 person camping with my wife, she is not into camping at all but this tent made camping okay since their is alot of room inside the tent. Constructuon of the tent is top notch. It packs down small for its actually size. It is a LARGE tent though. Fits perfectly on my bumot r1200gs pannier lid. Its a win in the books for me
