Voted the #1 Best Motorcycle Camping Tent
Buckle Up for the Ultimate Adventure Companion: The Redverz Atacama Expedition Tent
Imagine a tent that's not just a shelter, but a portal to wild adventures. Meet the Redverz Atacama Expedition Tent – the rebellious game-changer that's about to revolutionize how you experience the open road.
Ivory Dreams and Expedition Swagger Picture this: The limited-edition Ivory Atacama, a sleek masterpiece that's part motorcycle sanctuary, part adventure playground. Its clean, minimal aesthetic isn't just a look – it's a statement. The light-reflecting ivory hue doesn't just catch eyes; it laughs in the face of scorching temperatures, keeping you cool when the world outside is burning.
The Ultimate Two-Wheeled Basecamp Forget everything you know about camping. The Atacama isn't just a tent – it's a motorcycle's best friend. Imagine rolling your full-size adventure bike right into its own private garage, panniers and all. This isn't just storage; it's a VIP suite for your two-wheeled companion.
Space: The Final Frontier of Camping Let's talk room. The Atacama is like the TARDIS of camping gear – impossibly spacious on the inside. One person? Stretch out like a king. Two people? Cozy queen-sized comfort. Three people? No problem. This tent doesn't just accommodate; it celebrates togetherness. Need extra space? The garage becomes a bonus sleeping area. It's not just a tent; it's a transformative living space.
Real world - how big is the bedroom?
1 Up - Think twin bed XL with a bed side camp chair and your riding gear generously spread about the room.
2 Up - A queen size mattress with ample space either side for your gear and your own unique entry/exit door.
3 Up - Pack it all in. Plenty of room for three standard pads but personal gear, like stinky socks and boots will store out in the garage. Need even more capacity? Use the garage area for additional campers. Throw a custom fit garage ground sheet down and invite a handful of friends to sleep over. That’s functional, versatile design at its best.
Engineering That Laughs at Mother Nature Water? Wind? Bring it on. The Atacama's outer fly sheet boasts a 4,000mm hydrostatic head rating that makes other tents look like wet paper bags. The floor? A mind-blowing 10,000mm waterproofing that turns "water-resistant" into a joke. This is expedition-grade protection that turns brutal conditions into a mere footnote in your adventure story.
Nerdy Details, Adventurer's Dream Let's geek out for a moment. Those aren't just poles – they're aircraft-grade aluminum works of art. Pre-bent with an intentional curve that reduces stress and promises longevity. These poles aren't just structural; they're a promise that no matter what the trail throws at you, you're coming home.
The Garage: More Than Just Parking This isn't just a tent feature; it's a game-changer. Two opposing doors that invite your bike inside like a trusted companion. Security? Check. Weather protection? Double-check. Impromptu happy hour space? Absolutely. Imagine sipping coffee, protected from the elements, your bike nestled safely beside you – this is next-level adventure living.
Breathe Easy, Explore Freely Flow-through venting isn't just a technical term – it's your personal climate control. Hot climates don't stand a chance. Air circulates like a gentle mountain breeze, keeping you cool when the world outside is heating up.
The Details That Define Adventure • Sleeps 1-3 campers (because solo or squad, we've got you) • Stands tall at 77 inches (yes, you can actually stand up!) • Packs down to a compact 21" x 10" • Weighs a mere 14 pounds (because every ounce counts)
A Legacy of Innovation Born in 2008, the Atacama wasn't just a tent – it created an entire genre. Redverz didn't follow trends; they started them. This is the third generation of a revolutionary design that motorcycle adventurers didn't know they needed until it existed.
Accessories That Complete the Dream • Custom-fit ground sheets (because details matter) • 50-liter dry bag (because organization is an art form)
Who Is This For? The Atacama isn't for everyone. It's for the restless souls. The riders who see a road and wonder what's beyond the horizon. The adventurers who measure life not in years, but in experiences. The dreamers who understand that comfort and exploration aren't mutually exclusive.
A Tent, or a Lifestyle? More than just a piece of gear, the Atacama is a statement. It says you're not content with ordinary. You seek experiences that most only dream about. You don't just travel; you explore. You don't just camp; you create memories that last a lifetime.
The Technical Stuff (For the Gear Nerds) • 3-Season tent • Maximum width: 102 inches • Maximum length: 195 inches • Peak height: 77 inches • 4 convenient doors • Mosquito mesh that keeps the bugs as far away as your comfort zone
The Invitation This isn't just an invitation to buy a tent. It's an invitation to redefine your adventures. To break free from the ordinary. To turn every journey into an epic story.

What our Customers Say
" I have used this at a multiday "Motofest" where there was rain every day, including the "hangout time" in the evening. I can't say how pleased I am to have had the large vestibule to put up a backpacking chair, and open a flap, remain completely dry and watch the rain coming down outside. There is loads of room for gear in the vestibule or in the sleeping area. "I would venture to say there is not a better design for two adults that is comfortable. The level of detail in the design of the tent is clearly obvious. On top of it, the company takes pride in thier product. "Great tent. the area outside of the sleeping area is great for getting out of the elements. Took me years to decide to get one and I am not disappointed." Patrick "A great design heaps more room than my previous tent but not much bigger when packed.Simple to put up took me around 10 min.the first time with out reading the instructions can only get faster with practice" Ian "I received the Atacama Expedition tent in July. I then took a 4-week motorcycle tour of 21 states. I spent and entire week in the Great Smoky Mountains each night in this tent. The fit and finish are astounding. It paid for itself in just a few nights as I didn't have to stay in motels. "They laugh about the bike in the garage tent but then when it's raining, snowing or blowing out it's suddenly the most popular tent in the campground! I've had this particular tent for nearly a year now and I love how roomy it is, how I can stand up to change my clothes, the ventilation that prevents moisture buildup and how much space in the bay there is for storage, cooking or just visiting. I've only put the bike inside once and that was to hide it from a park ranger who was hassling us about the number of bikes/tent site! My advice is get the footprints for both the sleeping and garage area; they fit great and and a nice touch." Eric Hall "It is great to be able to step into the tent versus crawl. Great ventilation and keeps you bone dry. I like these tents so much when the Atacama came out I had to sell my Series II to get one. And selling a well taken care of tent is no hassle as I had three people interested." Tom "Purchased this to encourage my wife to join me on longer moto trips. Not only that that work out wonderfully, but I'm using it on a regular basis when camping solo (it is a GREAT home base style setup). Feels high quality, all the zippers are super smooth, and I stayed 3 nights in wind and rain without a drop penetrating the outer shell. There's something weird (and wonderful) about waking up to your bike safely next door." Joel

Great tent
Just received my tent and went camping for it's maiden voyage. The first thing i did was to, forget the instructions at home. :) I had watched Kevin on You Tube, so set up only took a few thoughtful minutes. My only real challenge was not knowing how to wide to stake the guide lines.I figured that out shortly and really enjoyed the outing and all the room inside. I'm headed North to Dawson City , and other Alaskan towns in two weeks. I'm confident this was a good choice of tents. Ride On

Great Tent Design
I've been looking at buying this tent for 3 years. I finally did it. Doesn't matter if to have a motorcycle. It's still a nice set up for additional sleeping room, dry storage, storing motorcycle or getting out of the rain. It's nice to use the awning kit for extra shade when it's hot. I purchased awning kit and 2 ground cover sheets. The tent sets up easily and comes down the same. It rolls up and easily fits bag into storage bag. Fits easily on my Suzuki Vstrom and will fit on any bike. I am 51 and enjoy a larger tent with good storage room and enough height to stand. Don't wait like I did. BUY IT!!

RedVerz Tent Review
If you want the perfect camping tent for a couple, or single, and need it to fit on a motorcycle, get this one. Although not a pop-up or self-standing tent, it is worth the time to erect it. I will never need another tent except for my one-man pop-up for really light loads and solo travel. The room in this tent is wonderful! While advertised as a place to park your bike, I carry a light bike cover and use the "garage" as living space. You can set up a small table and chairs, etc., in the non-sleeping compartment, store all of your gear, and get dressed in stand-up comfort and total privacy. I plan to custom cut a light ground cover for the non-sleeping section, making it even more liveable. This tent is the best there is for a couple, or for multiple-night stays. Practice pitching and and packing it at least once before you go. It will become very easy fast.

worries for the future
I'm worried that the elastic door tie-backs will fail after some time. I would rather they be nylon.

Redverz tent
Nice tent. Zippers are less than first quality. Nice tent stakes but are short & won't hold in soft soil. Sound like I'm nit-picking? I expect more from a three season tent for a $500.00 bill. If it wasn't for the garage, I'd shop elsewhere.

Ecxellent Motorcycle Tent
I have owned this tent [the Series II] for a couple of seasons, but I only got to use it this summer and it was great! I went on a trip on my Enfield Bullet 500 and I loved it! I didn't have to worry about my bike. Just a glance away! I opened it, unpacked it and set it up the time I got it, just to see/admire it and make sure everything was there.

AMAZING ROOM TO WEIGHT RATIO
I have owned this tent (Series II) for a couple of seasons now. Although I don't use it nearly enough, once you learn how it goes up you will love it. The first time I put it up to stay in it (i did a dry run in the back yard first) it was dark and because I had it upside down, it was a bit of a challenge to erect. Note to self: put the tent up BEFORE opening the beer. But once I figured it out, the next time was much easier. I am so impressed by how much room the tent has for how light it is and small it compacts down. Other riders look at you like you are crazy to be carrying such a large tent, but once they see how compact and light it is, they usually get "Redverz envy"

This tent is the BEST!
Bought it and never looked back. This tent is the BEST! Cold, rain, heat, or high winds are no match for the Redverz Series II Tent. Plus with a serious amount of real estate at your hands, the options on how to use it are endless. I could not be any happier. It has never failed me and I look forward to many more trips with it. As far as the price I am OK with it, a few skipped nights at hotels and it paid for its self. Having it with me on my trips gives me a sense of security knowing that I have over 90 sq foot of space that is up to 6’4” tall I can call home for the night.

Fabulous Tent
Easy to haul on a bike and a nice bag to keep everything organized. Our first weekend camping in this tent was met with all night thunderstorms both nights. We drove in the last stake as the rain drops started. Luckily we had some stools and got settled in the garage area to watch the storm. The bikes didn't get to come in out of the weather this trip. We had rivers of water coming through the garage area and the mud flows along with it. We kept glancing over at the sleeping area expecting water and it didn't happen. We went to sleep listening to the pouring rain all night long and stayed perfectly dry and got a great nights sleep. Repeat exactly the same thing the next night. Quick up, quick down. This tent is awesome. Just buy it!
