Extra Kit - because it is the smart thing to do
Last year we were in Cody Wyoming when a big wind discovered our campsite. I had just bought my tent at the BMWMOA and wasn't fully kitted out yet. There was carnage at the KPA with tents collapsing, people packing up and moving (where would you go at 2 am ?) and my new Redverz tent was holding up well. However, this wasn't my first rodeo and I learned long ago the advantages of double pegging and the judicious addition of a few extra guy lines. I had some spare pegs and para-cord with me (prior to my BMW MOA tent purchase )and was able to double peg the tent all around and rig up a few extra home made guy lines. Nothing is better than having extra lines and pegs and it makes sense to be consistent in the kit you carry. Quality products and best tent I have ever owned.
